Attended 1st race (SCCA - Sports Car Club of America) at 3 months old. Father (Brian Haupt, Carriage & Motor Works, Alfa Romeo specialist) still competes at age 79 in E-Production Mazda RX7 in the Midwest Division. Mother, Hazel (aka "Heavenly Hazel"), was a TSD rallier "back in the day" and later SCCA Administrator/Coordinator (for Volunteers). She also piloted a Ford Pinto, briefly.
Attended countless SCCA events, crewing and corner working, at tracks such as Hallett, Ponca City, Lake Afton, Hutchinson ("Hutch"), Gateway (St. Louis), Memphis (when Dad really needed points), Colorado (ditto), and later Topeka and Omaha.
Competed at 1st Runoffs at MidOhio in 2003 in an E-Production Mazda RX7 built by my dad.
Competed in several Runoffs and numerous racing events in the Southeast Division (based in South Carolina), then in the Midwest Division (Kansas City), then in Great Lakes Division (Granville, OH) in E-Production, then Spec Miata.
Volunteered at 1st rally, 100Acre Wood, in 2009.
Competed in 1st rally in 2015.
Appointed Chief of Scoring and Chief of Service for SOFR in 2019.
Married race legend, Justin Pritchard, in January 2011. They have 2 boys, Luke and William, and currently reside in the outskirts of Columbus, OH, but enjoy traveling to all parts of the world.
